The Wingman

I received a call from my old high school friend,
He Said " What the hell man where have you been?
Me and all the boys went out last night,
But I think we are going out tonight again,
Are you in?" "I don't think I can I've
been working really hard, but if you and the boys
want to come over here, you boys sure can.."
"Oh, Were going out to pick up girls"
"That's cool, But I want a Woman."

I'm working on an unknown woman,
Because I am, the number one Wingman,
Closing Deals, Working on the yard,
Shaking hands and Giving out my card,
Building a House and living in it for the time alone,
Cause someday a woman will come along and make it a home.
So, I'm Working hard for the kids that I don't have yet,
Yes I'm Working hard for a woman that I haven't yet met."

On night's that I can, I can be your Wingman,
But when it comes to me, I am my own damn man,
No more goin' out and watchin' cover bands,
No more hangovers and the one night stands,
It's Cuts and bruises up and down my hands,
Countless days of sunburns and farmer's tans,
